For this shoot Blake told me about this amazing spot he likes to hike to! We got a little lost on the way but eventually we found this little oasis. There was a small lake, we could see the ocean, and there was even a waterfall cause of the recent rains! Pants by Post’age Denim

Avey and Kria recorded Pullhair Rubeye in 2007, and then before relasing it, reversed the entire album. I personally preferr some of the songs ‘re-’reversed’ if you will. Click the photo for a link to one such song.

I only recently began listening to Dan Deacon and I’ve been hooked ever since. The constant chaos becoming order becoming chaos is perfect for me. Be warned, these songs will be stuck in your head. Select tunes I recommend are woof woof & snookered, but I recommend listening to the album all the way through the first time.

Last but not least, I’ve been re-visiting the haunting surf-rock melodies of Headgeared, by my good friends Nobody Wave.

Loose Tooth//Lost Youth: Kris Kidd
As you may or may not know, my good friend Kris Kidd is releasing a book tomorrow! It’s going to be quite the journey. Kris has gone through some incredible situations and he has been chronicalling them as they happen. Now, he has compile these writings and photographs into what’s sure to be my favorite book of 2011. There is a photo of mine in the book of Kris from our shoot back in the summer. Make sure to buy it!
